The Dr. William Connor Primary School in St. Johnson’s Village celebrated its 27th anniversary this weekend with a march of the students through the streets of Basseterre and a church service at the Antioch Baptist Church on Infirmary Road on Sunday. At the church service, there was a performance from some of the students and the presentation of a contribution from the school to the Antioch Baptist Church building fund. The church is currently constructing a new building in Lime Kiln.

The Dr. William Connor Primary School is named after the late founder of the Antioch Baptist Church and the school continues to foster a close working relationship with the church. School principal Ms. Valencia Syder made the presentation of the schools contribution to Pastor Lincoln Connor during Sunday’s anniversary church service.  At the end of the service, WINN spoke to Ms. Syder and Pastor Lincoln Connor.
